Barkai

Our Client: Barkai certifies Israeli rabbis in counseling, abuse recognition, sensitivity training, mediation and more. Armed with these pastoral skills, rabbis are better equipped to support, sustain, and provide for their community’s spiritual and familial health.

Project: It is so rare that a funder truly understands the perspective of the end recipient of those philanthropic dollars. Which is why we loved working on this project – we were able to curate a special “experience box” for our donors in isolation due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This box provided tools to combat feelings of isolation, resources for professional services, games for families of all types, and a taste of Israel. In doing so it also highlighted what the Barkai rabbinic couples give to all of their community members: support, guidance, comfort, engagement, and a sense of community.
